Join the #AIRS Campaign (Abolish Incarcerated Reality Shows) and 23 national organizations as we demand that A&E stop profiting from human suffering.
We're rallying outside their corporate offices to say:
Injustice is NOT entertainment.
A&E shows like 60 Days In and Inmate to Roommate dehumanize incarcerated people and normalize state violence. These shows are broadcast in over 100 countries, spreading dangerous and false narratives about incarceration to a global audience. And this matters now more than ever —We’re taking action one day before Juneteenth, a holiday meant to commemorate freedom and Black liberation. Yet in 2025, mass incarceration still disproportionately targets Black and Brown communities. Exploiting their stories for entertainment is a continuation of systemic harm.
